ย ย ย ย ย COTABATO CITY — On July 18, Tuesday, the Darapanan community in Sultan Kudarat in Maguindanao del Norte received one unit of a firetruck from the Bangsamoro Government through the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG) as part of the implementation of the Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF).
ย ย ย ย ย The fire truck was funded through the TDIF, which can be used to carry out initiatives that will favorably influence the Bangsamoro Region’s ongoing development throughout the Transition Period.
ย ย ย ย ย TDIF is implemented in collaboration with the Office of Members of Parliament of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority, in this case, the Office of MP Bai Maleiha B Candao.
ย ย ย ย ย Susan A. Omar, a representative of MP Candao, explained how the firetruck will help all stakeholders and residents of Darapanan, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao.

ย ย ย ย ย Joint Normalization Committee (JNC) Co-Chair Akmad “Toks” Brahim, Jr of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) officially accepted the one brand-new fire truck valued at โฑ15 million.
ย ย ย ย ย “Yung TDIF po ay pondo na gagamitin para mapabilis natin ‘yung phase ng recovery, rehabilitation, at transition towards stronger institutions of government in the Bangsamoro,” said MILG Minister Atty Naguib G Sinarimbo.
Atty Sinarimbo was joined by Chief Minister Ahod B Ebrahim, who officially witnessed the ceremonial turnover. Also present were BARMM Senior Minister Abunawas Maslamama, MILG Deputy Minister Ibrahim P Ibay, and representatives from the offices of MP Eddie Mapag Alih and MP Bai Maleiha B Candao.
ย ย ย ย ย A sea ambulance and a transport vehicle to the Muslim Upliftment Foundation of Tawi-Tawi, Inc. (MUFTI) and Tuan Ligaddong Lipae Memorial Hospital in Tawi-Tawi, respectively, were both turned over through the TDIF of MP Alih. A transport vehicle was also given to Liga ng Barangay in Northern Kabuntalan through the TDIF of MP Ambolodto.โ (/)โ
