MANILA (SDN) — As President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. reorganizes the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA), preparing the Bangsamoro government for its regular operation, appointments continue to come out from Malacañang.

Recall that the news media are heavy with the reports on the President’s appointment of Maguindanao del Norte Gov. Abdulraof A. Macacua as the new interim chief minister of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Macacua, chief of staff of the Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF-BIAF) replaces Bangsamoro Chief Minister Ahod Balawag “Al-Haj Murad” Ebrahim, chairman of the MILF.

Today, March 10, SDN – SciTech and Digital News received a copy of Marcos’s new appointees for MPs, who will serve until the regular legislators of the BARMM shall have been elected on October 13, 2025.

Note that the MILF list has two pages, but the second page is not available as of this writing, which may mean there are others appointed by the President on the side of the group.

The Palace addressed the list of the appointments to the incoming chief minister and signed by the President. They have been coming out also on social media.

Here’s the update on the BTA members, March 10, 2025, 7:26 p.m., per the Presidential Communications Office (PCO):
