CHESHIRE, England — Quantum Science beat out two other finalists on Thursday (October 20) to take home gold in the Innovation Award category.
The award recognizes Quantum Science’s success developing its innovative INFIQ® quantum dots, which efficiently convert light into electrical signals for infrared sensors.
The technology has the potential to revolutionize markets from automation to medicine, as its unique formulation allows Quantum Science to manufacture high-performance quantum dots at an affordable price.
Commenting on the win, Dr. Hao Pang, CEO and founder of Quantum Science, said:

This year’s ceremony was hosted by radio broadcaster Mark Radcliffe and held at the Mere Golf and Country Club in Knutsford, Cheshire, England.
The Innovation category recognizes business that have introduced an innovative product within the last two years that demonstrates quantifiable benefits against key performance indicators.
