MANILA, January 27, 2028 (SDN) — The “genocide” and the slaughter of Palestinians in Gaza Strip continues unabated, a report from the Embassy of Palestine in the Philippines showed.

A scam that is the ceasefire in Gaza in the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT), Palestine, is never a deterrent in the killing and murder of Palestinians.

It seems even a ceasefire brokered by United States President Donald Trump does not elicit respect from Zionist Israel under the leadership of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is wanted in and with an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court (ICC) of the United Nations.

An organ of the UN, the ICC issued the arrest warrants on November 21, 2024, against Netanyahu and his then-Defense Minister Yoav Gallant after the world criminal court’s investigation of war crimes and crimes against humanity resulting from what genocide scholars described as the Israeli-perpetrated “genocide” in Gaza and other parts of the OPT, which has been described as the world’s biggest open-air prison.

Remember that Italy’s brave and bold and courageous Francesca Paola Albanese, a legal scholar and expert on human rights — she has served as United Nations (UN) Special Rapporteur on the occupied Palestine had earlier condemned Netanyahu and Israel’s genocide in Gaza Strip.

More, the world’s International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS) in 2025 had also condemned Netanyahu and Israel’s actions in Gaza as nothing short of a genocide.

The two unrepentant ICC wanted men were alleged by the ICC as “being responsible for the war crimes of starvation as a method of warfare and the crimes against humanity of murder, persecution, and other inhumane acts during the Gaza war.” (Wikipedia and other sources)

But in spite of all these, the ceasefire, the arrest warrants, and pressure from the sane members of the international community, Netanyahu and Israel continue their merry ways of slaughtering Palestinians, with over 20,000 children of the more than 70,000 murdered.

The ICC also issued arrest warrants on some officials of Hamas for the Palestinian militant group’s victorious “surprise attack” on Israel on October 7, 2023, killing over 1,000 and with 250 hostages taken.

Many ignoramuses across the world, even among some Filipinos, are still blind of and hold the mistaken belief that the genocide in Gaza started only on October 7, refusing to believe or in denial that the conflict in Occupied Palestine and the struggle of Palestinians against the Israeli illegal occupation ACTUALLY started in 1939 when Israeli terrorists, one of them the Irgun Zvai Leumi (National Military Organization) started driving away scores of Palestinians from Palestine Homeland.

One of the most prominent members of Irgun Zvai Leumi was Menachim Begin, who then rose to become prime minister.

As ignoramuses would have it, denial is an art

Now, a report sent to SDN — SciTech & Digital News by the Palestine Embassy in the Philippines headed by Ambassador Mounir Y.K. Anastas.

According to the “Situation Report: Occupied Palestine” (19 January – 26 January 2026), the Israeli Defense Force (IDF), Netanyahu’s tool in the genocide in Gaza Strip, have already killed 484 Palestinians in spite of useless and toothless and sham Trump-brokered ceasefire in the first 108 days it was implemented.

And that since the October 7 Hamas blitzkrieg against Israel, the grand total of Palestinians slaughtered by the IDF (whose many members were implicated in the genocide and war crimes) has now reached a staggering 71,657 slain victims — including non-combatants — children, women, old men.

Here’s some of the tales of woe, part of the Embassy of Palestine’s situation report on the genocide:

• Lethal Israeli Ceasefire Violations Persist: Israeli occupation attacks across the Gaza Strip continued in blatant violation of the ceasefire, killing at least 484 Palestinians since its entry into force. Those killed by the IDF include journalists, children, and civilians sheltering near hospitals. The total death toll since October 2023 has risen to 71,657.
• Journalists Systematically Targeted: An Israeli airstrike killed Palestinian journalists in a single incidet, bringing the total number of journalists killed since the onset of the Israeli genocide to at least 259, raising grave concerns over the deliberate and systematic targeting of media workers.
• Children Succumbing to Forced Cold and Deprivation: At least 11 children, including a six-month-old infant, have died from hypothermia this winter as a direct result of collapsed shelter conditions and severe humanitarian aid shortages caused by the Israeli occupation.
• Direct Assault on United Nations Operations: Israeli occupation forces stormed and demolished UNRWA Headquarters in occupied Jerusalem and forcibly shut down health facilities following prior threats to cut water and electricity — accelerating the dismantling of UN humanitarian operations with explicit political backing.
• Cutting Deep into Gaza Despite U.S.-backed Ceasefire: A Reuters news agency investigation confirmed that Israel advanced its so-called “Yellow Line” into Gaza, destroying civilian structures, forcibly displacing already displaced families, and entrenching de facto military control beyond agreed U.S.-backed ceasefire lines.
• West Bank Faces Gravest Humanitarian Crisis Since 1967: More that 33,000 Palestinians remain forcibly displaced from northern West Bank refugee camps, amid mass curfews in Hebron, record-high demolitions in East Jerusalem, and escalating settler terror displacing Bedouin and herding communities.
• Settler Violence Driving Mass Livelihood Collapse: Ongoing illegal settler attacks continue to uproot Palestinian communities with over 72,000 farming and herding families now requiring urgent emergency assistance to prevent total livelihood collapse.
• Systematic Assault on Education: Israeli occupation authorities blocked and detained an international delegation of education unions from 15 countries, part of a broader campaign targeting Palestinian education — from the destruction of schools in Gaza to daily disruptions across the West Bank.
• Israeli Prison System a Network of Terror Camps: New documentation confirms systematic Israeli torture, starvation, medical neglect, and sexual violence against Palestinian detainees. B’Tselem reports that at least 84-94 prisoners, including minors, have died in Israeli occupation prisons since October 2023.
• Reform Undermined by Israel’s Systematic Constraints: Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa reaffirmed that Israel’s withholding of revenues, movement restrictions, and economic sabotage continue to undermine institutional functionality and the sustainability of reform efforts.

One can only hope the whole world, including the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) would do something, even just a thought, a prayer, if action is not possible, and maybe the Almighty God would listen and save the Palestinians from the Netanyahu and Zionist Israel. — EDD K.
