BAGUIO CITY — The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF)-North Luzon Regional Office headed by Regional Director Atty. Raihanah Sarah T. Macarimpas assisted on October 9 the Muslim Vendors Marketing Cooperative (MVMC) for the preparation of a Dressmaking Training in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.
NCMF-North Luzon’s Socio-Economic Development Division (SEDD) led by Acting Chief Amin A. Dianalan led the activities for the preparation which was made in coordination with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)-Cabanatuan.
One of the Muslim leaders in Cabanatuan, Latip M. Malambut, requested for funding intended for the venue of the proposed Dressmaking Training on July 10, 2024. In response, SEDD coordinated and submitted a project proposal to their partner bureau, BMEA (Bureau of Muslim Economic Affairs). The proposal was approved.
On October 9, Chief Dianalan together with MVMC President Malambut visited the Lazaro Francisco Integrated School (LFIS), the proposed venue for the Dressmaking Training. They were assisted by the head teacher Rommel A. Eugenio.
The NCMF-North Luzon expressed its heartfelt thanks and gratitude to school principal LFIS Ms. Belinda C. Mallare and TESDA-Cabanatuan for their continuous support to programs and activities of the agency for the benefit of the Muslim community. (/)
