BAGUIO CITY —ย The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF)-North Luzon, under the leadership of Regional Director Atty. Raihanah Sarah T. Macarimpas, took part in the opening ceremony and induction program of the 35-Day National Competency (NC) II Training on Dressmaking for the Muslim Community in Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija.
Socio-economic Development Division (SEDD) Acting Chief Amin A. Dianalan led the NCMF-North Luzon’s participation.
The training program was a collaborative initiative led by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)-Cabanatuan and the Florania Bao Sadian Technical Vocational School Foundation Inc. (FBSTVSFI), under the leadership of its school president, Louie M. Baisa.
As a training program, it will last for 375 hours, spanning 35 days, which started on November 4, 2024, and to conclude on December 13, 2024. Each trainee will receive a Php160 allowance daily.
In relation with this, the Lazaro Francisco Integrated School (LFIS) head teacher, Rommel A. Eugenio, has generously provided two rooms for the training venue, ensuring that the necessary equipment and materials will be readily available. Notably, some essential equipment and materials for the training have been generously provided by the NCMF.
The coordination process for this training program was executed with utmost efficiency, facilitated by the dedicated efforts of the SEDD personnel and the esteemed Muslim Leader of Cabanatuan City, Latip Malambut.
During the program, Atty. Nor-ainah M. Daragangan, Acting Chief of the Legal Division, representing the NCMF-North Luzon, delivered a brief address to the sponsors who made the event possible and to the Muslim beneficiaries.
SEDD personnel, including Eng’r Fatimah M. Calbe, Asnimah M. Casanguan, and Deloraine T. Bernabe attended the operning, along with representatives from various member line agencies.
