BAGUIO CITY — On February 6, 2025, The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF)-North Luzon Regional Office led by Regional Director Atty. Raihanah Sarah T. Macarimpas paid a courtesy visit to Regional Director Ms. Venus Rebuldela of the Department on Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Regional Office 3 in Maimpis, CSan Fernando City, Pampanga.
During the visit, the two parties’ key discussions focused on the following agenda:
- 1. Future collaborations on possible sustainable livelihood programs; and
- 2. Further discussion on a certain concern raised in the office by a constituent.
The recent meeting with the DSWD Regional Office 3 marked a significant step forward in the development of the socio-economic status of NCMF-North Luzon’s Muslim constituents.
NCMF-North Luzon personnel present were Chief Sitti Divina Mohammadshaid (DMO V, SD), Eng’r. Fatimah M. Calbe (DMO II, SEDD), Ms. Aquiza M. Pundogar (DMO II, PBCRD), Ms. Sittie Jamaica R. Acmad (DMO II, SD), Ms. Deloraine T. Bernabe (ADAS II, ORD), and Ali Jefferson Beronio (ADA IV, ORD). Representatives from the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) were also present during the meeting.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both parties expressing a strong commitment for possible collaborative programs for the utmost benefit of the NCMF’s Muslim constituents.

NCMF-North Luzon Makes Presence Felt, Joins RPOC III 2025 1st Q Meeting
Meanwhile, the NCMF-North Luzon Regional Office through its Pampanga Provincial Office led by Officer-in-Charge (OIC)/Provincial Director Atty. Abbas Macadatar attended the Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) III 1st Quarterly Meeting represented by Chief Sitti Divina Mohammadshaid held at the Royce Hotel in Clark, Freeport Zone, on February 11, 2025.
The primary agenda of the Council meeting item was a presentation on the preparations for the 2025 National and Local Elections (NLE), delivered by a resource person from the Commission on Elections (Comelec). Following this, there was a discussion on the current situation, significant accomplishments, issues, recommended measures or interventions, and strategies for moving forward in various areas.
Peace and Order Program was presented by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) R-3; Internal Peace and Security presented by 7th Infantry Division; Philippine Army; Criminality presented by Police Regional Office Region III; and Illegal Drugs presented by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 3.
After the presentations, relevant issues were raised during the open forum by the members of the RPOC.
The Chairperson emphasized the importance of developing a long-term plan for the council and suggested conducting workshops to explore future initiatives.
