NCMF-North Luzon and Pampanga Field Office Partner with Local Supermarkets, Groceries to Create Dedicated ‘Halal Lane’

         BAGUIO CITY — The National Commission on Muslim Affairs (NCMF)-North Luzon under Regional Director Atty. Raihanah Sarah T. Macarimpas through its personnel, has collaborated with local supermarkets & grocery stores around the province of Bulacan for its proposed project entitled Halal Lane.
         As its name suggests, Halal Lane is designed to contain only food and non-food products certified Halal with its logo by a reputable halal certifying body (HCB).
         The objective of this project is to address the growing demand for halal products and services, to create a dedicated Halal Lane in local supermarkets and groceries, and to ensure that Muslim customers can find a wide range of Halal certified products easily, especially this month of Ramadhan.
         Some NCMF Staff participated in the activity, such as SEDD Staff Amin A. Dianalan, Palawan D. Pacasum, Paulina O. Castillo, Mercedita D. Datumanong, Asnimah M. Casanguan, with Ali M. Taulo, Carim K. Batara, Norsad P. Simbanatao, Abulkhayer G. Maruhom.
