J&T Express continues expansion in SEA, reaches Philippine shores

(SDN) — On March 2, the Philippines welcomed new e-commerce express delivery company.

It’s name is J&T Express, which is said to be “the number one e-commerce express delivery in Southeast Asia (SEA).”

The company, established in Hong Kong, SAR Region, in 2015 runs on technology, relying on the internet for its operation 365 days a year, serving its customers year-round. It does not rest on weekends and holidays either.

It entered the huge Indonesian market the same year where it “became of the one of the leading express delivery companies in the said country that covered large areas for free pick up services, reaching a peak of 1.5 million package deliveries per day,” an email sent to SDN — Science and Digital News shows.

By March 2016, it officially covered the Muslim country’s entire region, ranking No. 2 among delivery service firms.

On its second year of establishment, the company expanded its services across SEA to serve more customers, focusing on small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and online businesses.

Now it is in the Philippines.

J&T Express’s executives inaugurated the country’s latest express delivery service at 1st Avenue, Mañalac Estate, Bagumbayan, Taguig City, in a gathering that assembled representatives from the Office of the City Mayor (Lani Cayetano), as well as guests from its partners, such as OPPO, Shopee, Lazada, and Zalora.

The inauguration signaled the start of its operation in the country.

Dean Ding, CEO of J&T Express Philippines, committed to bring a new kind of service to Filipinos.

“As an express company, J&T Express is committed to helping our customers thrive in the e-commerce business by bringing our reliable, efficient, and fast delivery service nationwide. With “Express Your Online Business” as our slogan, we hope to help our customers realize a more practical and efficient express service for online business and encourage the development of our business partners to be bigger and stronger,” he said.

The company has extensive network support delivery services within city, inter-city, inter-provincial, and e-commerce customers.

Aside from Indonesia and the Philippines, the company is also operating in Vietnam, Malaysia and, soon, in Thailand.

“That is why we are extremely excited to officially launch J&T Express in the country and become the express service of choice Filipino merchants who are looking to sell their products online,” he said.
