ON Thursday, August 29, Chinese tech giant Huawei officially introduced to the Philippines its new smartphone named Nova T5.
The new smartphone priced at Php18,999 has five AI (artificial intelligence) cameras, four at the back, including a 48MP Quad AI shooter, and, of course, the fifth is the 32MP front shooter for selfie.
Huawei Nova T5 can also do ultra-wide angle photography. Another going for it is its in-screen (the selfie maker) with 4.5mm ultra small camera cutout.

Its three other rear shooters are the 16MP Ultra Wide Angle; 2MP Depth; and 2MP Macro.
Embedded inside is a Kirin 980 flagship chipset, complemented with 8GB RAM and high screen-to-body ratio. The Kirin 980 provides the Nova T5 with a flagship-like performance because the chipset is also what powers the Mate 20 series of Huawei.
Nova T5 also sports an integrated fingerprint sensor, said to be “ultra-fast at 0.3 second unlocking.”
Huawei’s Nova series through the Nova 3i has grown to become the “most popular smartphone” in the Philippines, said Marty Bian, head of Nova Product Marketing Group Department, Huawei Business Group Department.
Huawei Technology Co. Ltd. is the world No. 1 telecoms equipment maker and No. 2 in global smartphone vendor.
