(SDN) — THE Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability (ACES) Awards 2019 has bestowed honors to an executive of Kaspersky.
ACES recognized Stephan Neumeier, managing director for Asia Pacific at Kaspersky, as one of the “Outstanding Leaders in Asia” during this year’s edition of the award-giving organization.
Neumeier received his award at the ACES Awards’ Gala Dinner on September 20 held in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Kaspersky executive joined the global security company in 2017, and has since been at the lead of its business growth in Asia Pacific (APAC). He oversees the expansion of the company’s new business in critical verticals, such as “industrial security.”
Kaspersky already has more than 400 million users and 270 corporate clients worldwide. The company “prides itself on its deep threat intelligence and security expertise to develop innovative security solutions for its users.”

Neumeier welcomed the recognition from ACES, assuring Kaspersky’s constant efforts to excel in cybersecurity.

“External recognition by the industry and professional associations such as this award, re-affirms Kaspersky’s commitment to corporate excellence. He shared the award to the Kaspersky team and the company’s partners.
“At the same time, I would like to give an honorable mention to our outstanding Kaspersky team as well as our top-notch dedicated Kaspersky partners in APAC. I would not have received the Outstanding Leaders of Asia Award without their support and for that, I am deeply grateful,” Neumeier said.
Other luminaries, aside from the Kaspersky executive, who received the same award were Elmar Lutter, president & CEO of Lufthansa Technik Philippines Inc.; Robert Elliott, CEO & general manager of Manulife Cambodia; and Victor Seah, chairman & CEO of Nestle Thailand.
