(SDN) February 18 — Another draw of the lotto games, another multimillionaire!
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) today, Thursday, said a lone punter hit the Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot worth Php69.298 million.
Manager Agnes Salgarino Ibera, officer-in-charge of the Corporate and Planning Department of the PCSO said the winner purchased the winning ticket at a lotto outlet in Porac, Pampanga.
In a message to the media, the PCSO official said the draw evening of February 18, 2021, came out with the winning combination of 13-28-07-31-34-24.
She said data about the lotteries are supplied by the PCSO Gaming Sector, which handles the agency’s various lotteries, the five lotto games, Small Town Lottery (STL), Keno, digit games, ScrachIt Cards, and others.
PCSO’s millionaire makers are its five major lotteries, Ultra Lotto 6/58; Grand Lotto 6/55; Super Lotto 6/49; Mega Lotto 6/45; and Lotto 6/42.
Together the lotto games have already produced at least 2,000 millionaires. It is safe to say most of the members of the unofficial PCSO Lotto Millionaires’ Club come from the country’s poor sector, among them: domestic helpers, security guards, jeepney drivers, laborers, auto mechanics, vendors, carpenters, village night watchmen, etc.
But there was also at one time a lotto jackpot winner from Binondo, Manila, who came riding a Pajero to claim his winnings. That was when the PCSO was holding fort at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City, Metro Manila.
In the 6/49 draw won by the Porac punter, 35 individual tickets each got the consolation prize of Php50,000 for guessing correctly five of the numbers of the winning combination.
Owners of a total of 1,353 tickets will receive Php1,200 each for four correct numbers, and 21,634 tickets each getting Php20 for three correct numbers. — EKU (✓)
