(SDN) — Still 24 seconds left but Milwaukee Bucks is beating Phoenix Suns to win the 2021 NBA Championship.
The Greek Freak, Giannis Antetokounmpo, carved his masterpiece in the sixth game of the 2021 NBA Championship, with 50 points, 14 rebounds, and two assists.
His production in today’s game gave him and his Milwaukee Bucks the winning game, beating the equally-hungry Chris Paul-led Phoenix Suns, in a score of 105 to 98.
The Suns’ best shooter — Devin Booker — in comparison, a usually prolific points producer, only managed to eke out 19 points, 5 assists, and 3 rebounds. In his Suns’ do-or-die elimination game, Booker regressed, also turning over the ball a few times.
It’s the first NBA crown for Antetokounmpo, and second for the Bucks, their first in 1971, handing Milwaukee and its people a wild celebration, the win led by head Coach Mike Budenholzer.
On the Phoenix side, Chris Paul, one of the King LeBron James’s close friends, scored 26 points, 5 assists, and 2 rebounds. His team fell short, falling in the sixth game, the Bucks’ first series-clinching game. Had the Suns escaped elimination a game seven would have been in Phoenix, where anything could happen.
But it was not to be as the tall and lanky Greek Freak made sure there would be no return to the Phoenix court, producing a historic 50-point game of his life.
