(SDN) — Bangsamoro READi, the humanitarian arm of the Ministry of Interior and Local Government (MILG) continues its mission to help municipalities and communities hit by calamities.
“We are responding to the requests for assistance in the different municipalities of the second district of Maguindanao due to flooding. Yesterday, our Bangsamoro READi Team was in Datu Salibo,” said MILG Minister Naguib G. Sinarimbo.”
“Today (September 16), we are in Buluan to provide assistance to the communities in these areas in partnership with Congressman Esmail ‘Toto’ Mangudadatu. Gratitude is an attitude of this Government.”


The MILG READi also delivered assistance to other parts of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), such as for a village in Cotabato City.
“READi” stands for the MILG’s Rapid Emergency Action on Disaster Incidence (READi).
Sinarimbo dispatched a READi team to the city’s Barangay (Village) Rosary Heights 9 where they delivered food assistance for 1, 460 families on September 29.
Sinarimbo emphasized the assistance was in response to the request of village officials who sought help for residents who continued to experience difficulties due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The MILG READI also delivered relief assistance to Barangay Rosary Heights 1 on September 20, distributing over 1000 food packs for the residents, also to help alleviate their difficulties arising from the pandemic.

Barangay Rosary Heights 1 Chairman Peter C. Morales extended his gratitude to the leadership of BARMM for the relief assistance. (✓)
