InLife Financial Advisors Gain Digital Edge Through Mobile App

Insular Life (InLife) has  launched recently the latest version of its mobile app aimed at giving its hardworking financial advisors (FAs) the digital edge and direction during the sales process.

Called the InLife COMPASS, the app is an end-to-end sales tool that will help InLife FAs perform tasks from goal setting to performance tracking. Through the app, InLife agents will be able to manage their leads, ensure daily activities, and conduct a financial needs analysis to provide the right products to their prospective clients.

“We want our financial advisors to gain an edge in the marketplace in terms of leveraging technology to better serve their clients and this starts at the prospecting level. We built COMPASS to facilitate the adoption of technology among them and at the same time help them achieve their goals through end-to-end efficiencies,” said Dyne Alvarez, chief agency officer at InLife.

Setting Targets and Meeting Goals

The InLife COMPASS app has a built-in goal tracking feature that enables FAs to set their targets on an annual basis. The app automatically computes the number of leads needed to be converted on a month-to-month basis. The app’s dashboard also gives a good overview of leads and interactions made and can generate milestone reports.

“By presenting these data visually, our FAs are able to track their progress seamlessly and are able to calibrate their activities instantly,” Alvarez added. “The app’s sync function enables one to work offline which makes it a powerful tool in our FA’s sales arsenal.”

The InLife COMPASS app can be used on any smartphone or tablet with easy integration to the devices’ built-in apps like Address Book, SMS, Calls, and Calendar.

Alvarez noted that for privacy and security of clients, COMPASS can only be installed on a single device that must be registered at Insular Life’s Agents Portal.

The latest addition to the app is the eFNA feature, which aids Financial Advisors in giving advice regarding financial goals. It provides a road map to leads or policyholders in accordance with the portfolio they want to invest in whether it is life protection, investment, education, retirement, and estate planning.  It also helps determine the amount the policyholder needs according to their priorities and lifestyle.
