(SDN) — The Bangsamoro Region’s premier educational institution, the Mindanao State University (MSU) System, has a new president, Atty. Basari Mapupuno Dimakuta of Balindong, Lanao del Sur.
He replaces former MSU System president Dr. Habib Macaayong.
Director Dr. Dimapuno Alonto Datu-Ramos of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) relayed this to SDN — Science and Digital News.
Datu-Ramos shared the new president’s Oath of Office dated March 9, 2022 signed by Executive Secretary Salvador C. Medialdea.
President Mapupuno studied at the MSU Main Campus in Marawi City, where he finished his law course at the College of Law. He soon taught at university.
A multi-campus institution of higher learning, its campuses are the MSU-Main in Marawi City, MSU-IIT in Iligan City, MSU-TCTO in Tawi-Tawi, MSU-Naawan in Misamis Oriental, MSU-Maguindanao, MSU-General Santos, MSU-Sulu in Jolo and MSU Buug in Zamboanga Sibugay. — EKU (✓)
