(SDN) — The Bangsamoro Government’s Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE) has set the release of the second payment of scholarship benefits for LAMBASULTA (Lamitan City, Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi).
In order to implement this, the MBHTE led by Minister Mohagher Iqbal issued Regional Memorandum (RM) No. 327, Series of 2022 dated March 22.
Iqbal’s memorandum addressed to Director General for Higher Education Marjuni M. Maddi is for scholars under the Access to Higher and Modern Education Scholarship Program (AHME-SP) 1st Cohort. MBHTE’s Directorate General for Higher Education will be releasing the 2nd payment for the scholars.
MBHTE’s RM No. 327, S. 2022 also covered the enrollment registration for the opening of Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) Prepaid Card for 2nd cohort beneficiaries.
Releasing of cheques, registration on April 1
For Basilan province and Lamitan City, Iqbal instructed the following MBHTE personnel to facilitate the activities such as Ameril Aragasi, Jeremy Guillermo, Laridah May Abedin, Aznazi Maguindra Ali, Mary Angelic Salvador, Namerah Usman; for Sulu area, Juliezen H. Ulanghulan, Ariff Usman, Amirkhafieds S. Ungas, Joshalyn Tuttuh, Evelyn Maata; and for Tawi-Tawi, they are Abdil Nassir S. Maddi, Jonathan Omar, Maleha Maguid, Elham Second.
All the activities will be conducted on the same day, April 1, 2022, at TBI for Basilan and Lamitan City, at Hadji Butu School of Arts and Trade (HBSAT) for Sulu, Tawi-Tawi Regional Agricultural College (TRAC) for Tawi-Tawi.
Iqbal said the releasing of cheques for the scholars will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
On the other hand, registration for the LBP Prepaid Card will be at 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
However, for Tawi-Tawi scholars releasing of cheques and registration will be done at the same time.
Under Iqbal, the education ministry, apparently, has been working doubly hard to address and attend to its constituents and stakeholders. (✓) — (EKU)
