This expression of hope in the Pilipino language is expressed when one hears something good happens to others, or they achieve a feat.
In this case it is about winning a lotto jackpot as the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) produced two multimillionaires in just two successive days.
In related development, the PCSO said Grand Lotto 6/55 had no winner of its major prize money on June 15, 2022, which had a jackpot of over Php205 million.
For its next draw today, Saturday, the charity agency projected the jackpot to reach around a whopping Php217 million.
The June 15 draw came up with the winning combination of 09-13-41-36-49-45.
On the evening of Saturday, June 17, 2022, the PCSO reported that a bettor won Mega Lotto 6/45’s Php103-million jackpot.
The PCSO’s Ms. Ana May Casten, chief of Advertising Division, Corporate and Planning Department, said the winning ticket was traced to a lotto outlet which sold the lucky numbers in Malabon, Metro Manila.
She added 6/45 drew the winning numbers such as 10-12-02-27-03-18 which carried the Php103,269,281.60 prize money.
All PCSO gaming prizes from Php10,000 and above are subject to a 20 percent tax as stipulated by the TRAIN Law.
A day before the PCSO produced winner who got Lotto 6/42’s Php9.4-million jackpot offering after the punter guessed correctly the winning combination of 33-31-13-41-25-18, said PCSO Corporate and Planning Assistant General Manager Agnes Salgarino Ibera.
She said the PCSO traced the winning 6/42 ticket to a lotto outlet in Amadeo, Cavite.
Since the beginning of the charity agency’s lotto games, Ultra Lotto 6/58, Grand Lotto 6/55, Super Lotto 6/49, 6/45, and 6/42 the PCSO has already produced more than 2,000 instant millionaires, and counting.
