On October 12, 2022, the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF)-North Luzon Regional Office headed by Regional Director Atty. Bai Raihanah Sarah T. Macarimpas-Pacasum assisted in the reclassification of a land donated for the establishment of a public Muslim cemetery.
The NCMF-North Luzon attended a meeting for the reclassification through its Pampanga Field Office in San Fernando, Pampanga under the leadership of Provincial Director Atty. Abbas Macadatar.
It was held at the Sangguniang Bayan Conference Room of the local government unit (LGU) of the Municipality of Norzagaray, Bulacan. The LGU’s Committee on Land Use convened the meeting.
This meeting tackled the Muslim landowners/donors’ request for the reclassification of their donated land located in Sitio Tadyang, Barangay Minuyan, Norzagaray, from agricultural to institutional, which will be utilized for the establishment of a public Muslim cemetery.
Councilor and Committee on Land Use Chairperson Zosimo SM. Cruz, Jr. and Vice Mayor Patricio I. Gener presided over the meeting.
During the meeting, Ms. Elvira Marohombsar, the landowners/donors’ representative, submitted the documentary requirements for the application for reclassification.
