(SDN) — This is a tragedy of huge proportions!
An overseas Filipino worker (OFW) has allegedly killed his wife, who was five months pregnant, in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
Sketchy information showed the victim’s close friends in Makkah were saying the suspect “used a fire extinguisher” on his wife.
A very reliable source from Jeddah, also an OFW, relayed this today, October 26, to SDN — Scitech and Digital News.
“It looks strange. They looked like a happy couple in their photographs on Facebook,” the male OFW source said, a computer and programming expert.
They are both from Region IX in Jolo, Sulu, the source, who is also from Jolo, said.
Speaking of social media, the mother of the slain OFW mother on her Facebook page, Hja Darwisa Mukarram, calls for justice on the fate of her daughter, the victim — Fards Mukarram-Nur.
“I WANT JUSTICE FOR MY DAUGHTER”, the mother of the victim said.
The source said the mother and her 5-month-old child died in a hotel in Makkah, perhaps the scene of the crime.
He added that the suspect — in his Facebook is “Nhabzboy Nur” — is now detain in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. He works in Information Technology (IT).
The victim’s sister also has a post on social media, decrying the killing of her sister. Her post got 200 comments so far and counting, with 953 shares as of 4:15 p.m., October 26. (/)
