COTABATO CITY (SDN) — The Bangsamoro Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE) continued to step up efforts toward a successful implementation of the country’s full face-to-face (F2F) classes in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
Under the leadership of Education Minister Mohagher M. Iqbal, the MBHTE, one of the 15 primary ministries of the parliamentary BARMM government, has been putting in place a number of reforms to raise the level and quality of education in the region.
Part of the reform taking place include the construction of new school buildings to add more classrooms, rehabilitation of old school buildings, hiring of new teachers, including non-teaching positions, provisions of school materials including computers and other devices), holding of workshops and seminars to introduce new methods of learning, of technology, as well as to future-proof teachers as new innovations in education come along moving forward.
Thus, as part of the continuous endeavor of the ministry to provide learning materials and equipment for the implementation of the full face-to-face classes in BARMM, delivery and distribution of supplies took place at Kurintem Elementary School, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte.
The learning materials include 763 sets of school supplies kit, 1 unit of RISO machine, 5 gallons of white paint, 5 gallons of green paint, 5 boxes of A4-sized bond paper, 1 unit of laptop, 1 laptop bag, 1 computer mouse, and 1 headset.
