CONRAD HOTEL MANILA, Pasay City, November 25, 2023 (SDN) — An international non-government organization (NGO) recognized by the United Nations reached out Saturday to the Philippine government as it extended its helping hand.

Christopher Michael Buenafe, with a rank of lieutenant general in the NGO dubbed the International Police Commission Global Command Inter-Governmental Organization (IPC GC IGO) organized and hosted a two-day Global Summit Conference and Global Proclamation of IPC GC IGO in this five-star hotel overlooking the world-famous Manila Bay Sunset.

For two days, November 24-25, the NGO hammered down its many layered goals of helping the world, the Philippines especially they said, in fighting poverty, climate change, establishing peace, and fostering harmony and understanding among peoples.

A news brief from the group has it more succinctly, saying it “aim(s) to further strengthen peace and order, humanity, cooperation and protection of life and property, plus an amazing covenant that will bring back the highest glory to the Philippines and the rest of the world.”

The NGO is headed by IPC Supreme Commanding General Robert Biazon.

First day of the event featured the Business Conference with the participants discussing “the huge construction and development of the IPC GC IGO humanitarian cooperative projects that will soon rise in Zambales and the rest of the Philippine archipelago.” Over 100 members of IPC from various parts of the country attended the event.

On the summit’s second and final day, the NGO presented one of its plans of building a smart city with highways linking the Philippines’ three major islands of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Before the start of the press conference Buenafe briefed members of the media on what the IPC is all about.

He said their organization is not yet known in the Philippines, even the government is not aware of the IPC, although they have operating for many years including in 32 other “Command Countries”.

“The strongest of this is registered in Nevada, U.S.,” Buenafe pointed out.

IPC Programs’ implementation to be coordinated with government

Helping the world, especially fellow poor countries is heavy on the IPC, he said, adding “since yesterday we have been presenting programs for poverty alleviation, campaign for global peace, how to contribute to and combat climate change in our own simple way where people participate, with communities’ participation.”

Buenafe noted that when it comes to climate change, “people don’t understand climate change… thinking climate change” is just that. “That’s why we are here.”

He said their group also has programs focused on sustainable livelihood which is very practical.

“We formulated ways on how to do it, how to implement it. But, of course, all those (plans), we bow to the government. We would like to cooperate…collaborate, fully legal, with the government because the government also has many programs. We can add to the (government) programs.”

Meanwhile, he made known that in the press conference they will not take questions concerning politics, police and military matters, being that the IPC is an international and inter-governmental NGO.

The IPC officer said he had attended a United Nations conference in 2019 before the coronavirus pandemic where he was approached by the then UN General Assembly President Maria Fernanda Espinosa of Ecuador during the 73rd Session in 2018-219. Buenafe said they discussed a range of issues and concerns as he introduced the IPC to the UN official.

He said the IPC is registered under the UN’s Social and Economic category.

The second day of the event featured the “crowning of King Chua Tai Li and Queen Maria Pilar Fernandez Verandmal” mandated to spread the IPC’s varied plans on development, construction, infrastructure, and humanitarian projects.

An officer of the IPC from South Korea, Yosep Kang, attended the two-day event held under the direction of RLTV Entertainment Production’s Events, Concerts and Film Director Ronald B. Abad, a member of the Kapisanan ng mga Direktor ng Pelikulang Pilipino (KDPP), Philippine Investigative Media Alliance (PIMA), and Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP).

Also involved was AJT Events Production and Management headed by Ms. Jennifer Rabe.
