GAZA STRIP 31/03/2025

GAZA STRIP, Palestine — In an unprecedented Israeli army action throughout the war, and since 2017,   15 dead bodies of Palestinian paramedics and crew members of the Palestinian Civil Defense  Service (PCDS) in Gaza have been recently recovered in the Rafah City in the south of the Gaza Strip, which was invaded by the Israeli army on  23rd of March, one week ago, or almost  more than one week ago.

Gunshots were found and were seen on the dead bodies of those crew members on the head, on the chest, and other lower parts of their dead bodies. The Palestinian Civil Defense Service says that this was a heinous crime that should be punishable by International Law.

Not only the Civil Defense Services, but also the International Federation of the Red Cross (IFRC) and the Red Crescent in the world also condemned this as unprecedented.

The Israeli army says that this action or the killing of those people happened because of what the Israeli army says and describes as the affiliation of those dead bodies now to both Hamas and the Islamic Jihad.

Mahmoud Basal, spokesperson for the Palestinian Civil Defense:

“Our crews have completed the recovery of the bodies of the martyrs who died in the barracks area in Rafah, after losing contact with them. This includes both members of the Civil Defense and the Palestinian Red Crescent.

During the recovery operations, we witnessed shocking scenes: the Israeli occupation forces had placed the bodies in a hole more than two meters deep. We also saw one crew member being bound and stripped of his clothes, there were direct shots to the head and chest as well. This clearly demonstrates that the occupation forces carried out this massacre.” (Source: CGTN)
