TESDA’s participation in the WorldSkills Asia event aligns with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr.’s thrust to strengthen technical and vocational education and training (TVET) as a driver of national development and inclusive growth. Under the President’s leadership, the administration continues to invest in skills development to equip Filipinos for quality employment and global competitiveness.

TESDA Secretary Jose Francisco “Kiko” Benitez emphasized that the Philippines’ active participation in international skills competitions not only demonstrates the capability of Filipino workers but also enhances the country’s reputation as a champion of skills excellence.

“Through WorldSkills, we affirm our commitment to empowering Filipino youth and workers through world-class training and opportunities that meet international standards,” he said.
