BAGUIO CITY — The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos – North Luzon Regional Office (NCMF-NL), through its Socio-Economic Development Division (SEDD), conducted a Needs Assessment Survey and Profiling of Muslim Filipino businesses on October 16, 2026, in Tarlac City, Tarlac.

Based in the Pine City, NCMF-North Luzon is headed by Regional Director Atty. Raihanah Sarah T. Macarimpas.

NCMF-North Luzon’s activity aimed to assess the socio-economic conditions, business challenges, and priority needs of Muslim Filipino entrepreneurs to identify appropriate programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) that would support their economic development.

The activity involved 48 Muslim Filipino business owners, entrepreneurs, and community representatives in Tarlac City. The survey gathered relevant information on their business profiles, types of livelihood activities, operational challenges, existing resources, and areas requiring government assistance.

The activity facilitated the collection of baseline information and community recommendations to inform the identification and formulation of responsive socio-economic programs.

NCMF-North Luzon said the survey findings are intended to guide the office in prioritizing interventions based on the actual needs, challenges, and development priorities identified by the respondents.

The conduct of the Needs Assessment Survey and Profiling reflects NCMF-North Luzon’s commitment to evidence-based program planning, community participation, and inclusive socio-economic development.

It also aims to ensure that future programs and livelihood interventions are relevant, sustainable, and responsive to the needs and aspirations of Muslim Filipino entrepreneurs and communities in Tarlac City. (/)
