BANBROS Commercial, Inc. and PC Express on Sunday, December 1, opened the first-ever Edifier Concept Store in the Philippines.
Product offerings bearing the trademark Edifier have been in the country for many years, being found and sold in various electronics and computer stores.

But this is the first time for an Edifier Concept Store now located at the Cyberzone of SM Megamall, Building B, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. (Unibox.co.uk says a “concept store is a place where new ideas are put together in a bid to enhance the shopper experience and sell more stuff.)

Bangayan explained why the one-stop-shop Edifier store is only now.

He said opening a concept store without much consumer following “would be a disaster. We want to wait for a particular time to develop (a following).”
The Banbros Commercial head said developing a market following takes years. But once “we see the market has developed for audio, it has always been on our mind to open a concept store.”
He added that Edifier “is number one in China” and is now not only for PC audio and lifestyle audio. It has diversified through partnership with STAX, which provides high-fidelity audio products in Japan.

Bangayan thanked Ng and PC Express for managing the first of the country’s Edifier Concept Store. “Hopefully, we won’t stop here…have many as we go on…as Edifier continues to come up with innovation,” he said.
He added that Edifier products are really affordable.

Ng expressed hopes that the concept store of Edifier would entice young people to visit the concept store and try the many product offerings.
The partnership between PC Express and Banbros Commercial, he said, was geared towards providing high-fidelity audio to the market.
