ONE of China’s top smartphone manufacturers will reveal its much-touted and highly-anticipated flagship phone on February 22, 2020, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain.
In an email sent to SDN — Science and Digital News, it was learned that OPPO has officially sent out invites for the upcoming global launch of its cutting-edge flagship smartphone, the Find X2, at the MWC, the biggest event in the tech world.
As the much-anticipated successor to 2019’s Find X, the all-new Find X2 that is making its debut this 2020 will soon come to life with the most revolutionary screen display technology.
It is good to note that screens play a vital role for smartphone users’ needs today, according to recent IHS Whitepaper Study entitled “Intelligent Connectivity: Unleashing Opportunities with the Power of 5G, AI, and Cloud”.
The smartphone vendor already achieved many firsts in the world of cellular phones.
Previously, OPPO launched the world’s first ever pop-up camera in a smartphone, the first ever panoramic screen display in a smartphone, and the first 3D Face Recognition feature on Android.
With the upcoming Find X2, OPPO is set to sustain the Find Series as the main series that carries the brand’s most advanced technological innovations.
Meanwhile, the company is doing a bit of its share in helping put up measures for health and safety to prevent the spread of the incurable 2019 Novel CoronaVirus Acute Respiratory Disease (2019 N-CoV ARD).
For this initiative, OPPO is giving away free face masks per individual person which can be claimed in all of its concept stores in Metro Manila and in all its service center nationwide starting today, February 7.
“OPPO will be actively participating to combat the possible spread of NCoV within the community by distributing one free face mask per person,” the company said in a statement.
The distribution will continue until supply runs out.
