From November 21 to December 18, 2022, the Arab State of Qatar led by His Highness Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani will host the world's most prestigious soccer competition, the FIFA World Cup, in Doha, the capital. The sporting event will feature the best of the best the game can offer -- the players and their coaches who will pit brains against brains. Qatar won the right to host the 2022 World Cup on December 02, 2010, beating many other bidders.
