The program, launched in 2018 in the Philippines, is a global health and wellbeing initiative that encourages Sitel Group associates to make healthy choices, provides wellness information and advice and gives back to the community through charitable fitness challenges.

Held annually since 2010, the Asia CEO Awards pays tribute to world-class Filipino talents and companies and recognizes exemplary contributions, inspiring exceptional performance and innovations that drive bigger investments for stronger businesses. The 2021 theme of the awards was, “Recover, Reset, Reignite” as the event highlighted business achievements in making essential changes during the pandemic that allowed businesses to not only survive but thrive during challenging times.

“We had over 514 leaders and companies nominated this year which is the highest number we have received,” shared Richard Mills, Asia CEO Awards Chairman.

“Every entry was incredible and the companies and individuals all deserve to be honored for their contribution to the business sector and the country especially during the global pandemic.”

Under the pillars Move Well, Eat Well and Live Well, activities, forums and programs were launched to promote emotional and mental health, exercise and movement and healthy eating.

The SitelFit program is supported by a dedicated app that provides individual and group engagement through movement. Sitel Group associates can join live and on-demand classes like yoga, weight training, Pilates and more created for all levels of physical levels.

In 2021, Sitel Group brought back the successful “Step Forward, Give Back” challenge, inviting employees to engage in friendly competition in a variety of physical challenges to accumulate points to unlock a donation to a global Non-Government Organization (NGO). In 2020 the Sitel Group associates donated to UNICEF and in 2021 associates accumulated enough points to donate US$15,000 to World Learning, an NGO operating in over 60 locations around the world supporting STEM education.

In the Philippines, Sitel Group teams hosted local inter-site challenges across all sites with different activities and fitness pose goals. Through their efforts, Philippine associates raised Php50,000, distributed to local charities chosen by the various site clusters. (✓)
