(SDN) — A bettor in Tanauan, Batangas, is this year’s latest lotto instant millionaire, winning Lotto 6/42’s jackpot of over Php5.9 million.
The lone punter guessed correctly the winning combination of 6/42 the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) drew on Saturday, November 27, 2021.1
PCSO executive Ana May Casten shared this to reporters, indicating the lucky ticket was traced to a lotto outlet in Tanauan.
The winner will get his or her winnings less 20 percent per the TRAIN Law that taxes lottery prizes, among others.
Exactly a year after on the draw date the PCSO will forfeit the jackpot price if not claimed. The lotto agent will get Php1 million for selling the winning 6/58 ticket.
