(SDN) — More millionaires are emerging from the lotto games of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

On October 23, a lone punter hit the jackpot of Super Lotto 6/49 amounting to Pho188.47 million in prize money.
A day earlier, Grand Lotto 6/55 surrendered its Php35.41-million jackpot to a punter.
The PCSO’s Assistant General Manager Agnes Salgarino Ibera said the agency’s lotto sector traced the 6/49 winning ticket to a lotto outlet in Guiguino, Bulacan.
She said the winner correctly guessed the lucky combination — 09-03-19-13-20-29 — which yielded the jackpot prize.
On the other hand, Ibera said the winning ticket for 6/55 was traced to a lotto outlet in Tacloban City, Leyte, which matched the winning numbers — 44-50-07-52-46-36.
Since the lotto games started during the administration of the late former President Fidel V. Ramos the charity agency has now produced more than 2,000 Instant Lotto Millionaires.
Winners of PCSO lotteries and other games have exactly a year to claim their winnings.
Based on the TRAIN Law, prize money from Php10,000 up is taxable for 20 percent. — EKU (✓)
