BARMMAA Meet 2023 concludes on May 29; five days of intense competition during which the MBHTE leadership hopes each of the athletes will give their best and at the same time show a shining example of sportsmanship.

As well as return to their home school division happy that they have given their best whatever their result came out. And have made many friends and memories they will treasure for the rest of their lives.

The athletes, needless to say, will also serve as ambassadors of their respective school division.

As athletes would say, there’s no substitute for winning. But losing gracefully is an important facet of sportsmanship. To be a good sport, both winners and losers must show politeness and graciousness as well as respect for each other.

To engage in sport is to be fair, respectful, and ethical.
