COTABATO CITY — The Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education (MBHTE) bagged the 1st place in the Government Website Excellence Award during the Bangsamoro ICT Month cum 2nd Bangsamoro ICT Summit and ICT Research and Innovation Exhibit conducted by the Bangsamoro Information and Communications Technology Office (BICTO) headed by Executive Director Jonathan Mantikayan.
Participants in the event included other exhibitors from the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao’s (BARMM) various ministries, offices, and agencies to start the exhibition of advancements and possibilities in the world of ICT.
Through the Information and Communications Division led by Mobarak Pandi alongside ICT Section Head Ustadhz Haron Salah, the MBHTE showcased its cutting-edge solutions in the ICT industry by presenting the development and implementation of the very first unified system in Philippine Education, the Bangsamoro Education Management and Information System (BEMIS) in partnership with Pathways.
This was followed by the actual demonstration of Fiber Optic Campus Cabling Management represented by the MBHTE-TESD (technical education and skills development) competitor from Maguindanao.
Under the leadership of Minister Mohagher M. Iqbal, MBHTE is one of the 15 primary ministries of the Bangsamoro government headed by Chief Minister Al-Hajj Murad Ebrahim. (✓)
