BAGUIO CITY — The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) North Luzon Regional Office, under Regional Director Atty. Raihanah Sarah T. Macarimpas through Officer-in-Charge Atty. Nor-ainah M. Daragangan, has been approved as a member of the Regional Development Council-Sectoral Committee on Economic Development (RDC-SCED) of the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).
This is after NCMF-North Luzon signified its intent to join the Sectoral Committee of the RDC-CAR through a letter addressed to its Chairman Gov. James S. Edduba of the Province of Kalinga through National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA)-CAR last May 2024.
NCMF-North Luzon is already a member of the RDC-CAR Sectoral Committee on Social Development and a Special Non-Voting Member (SNVM) of the RDC-CAR.
On August 14, 2024, the NCMF-North Luzon Socio-economic Development Division Luzon (SEDD) led by Acting Chief Amin A. Dianalan attended the 3rd Quarter 2024 RDC-Sectoral Committee on Economic Development Meeting in NEDA-RDC Hall, Baguio City.
During the meeting, the following agenda were discussed:
1. Updates from the Sub-committee on Agriculture
2. Updates from the Sub-com on Gold-Trading
3. 2024 Cordillera Weaving Industry Summit
4. Result of the 2024 Philippine Coffee Quality Competition (PCQC), Philippine Coffee Expo (PCE) and PCQC Auction
5. June 2024 Inflation Report
6. Flagged Projects in the Economic Sector
7. CAR Priority PPAs for 2024 RNIP Dialogue
