BAGUIO CITY — Congressman Joseph L. Lara of Cagayan Province has approved and committed to fully fund the construction of a multi-purpose building in Tuguegarao City.
The project, a collaborative effort between the Tuguegarao City Muslim Community Council (TCMCC) and the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) North Luzon, will serve as a vital facility for various purposes within the community.
The building is envisioned to function as the official office for the TCMCC, an evacuation center during times of natural disasters, and a cultural center for promoting Islamic heritage and interfaith understanding.
This building will not only support the Muslim community in Tuguegarao but will also contribute to the overall safety, cultural enrichment, and development of the entire city and province.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the project is expected to take place soon, with the construction fully funded by Congressman Laraโs office. Once completed, the multi-purpose building will stand as a symbol of unity and resilience, benefiting not just the Muslim community but the wider Tuguegarao City and Cagayan Province populace.
This project highlights the ongoing cooperation between local government units and the Muslim community, underscoring a shared commitment to inclusive growth and community development in Cagayan Province. (/)
