CAMP DARAPANAN, Maguindanao del Norte, September 14, 2025 — Moro Islamic Liberation Front Central Committee (MILF-CC) Chairman, and United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) President Al-Haj Murad Ebrahim joined today, Sunday, the Assembly of Inner Guard Base Command led by Commander Badrudin “Sir Badz” Akmad Ebrahim.
Chairman Murad delivered a powerful historical overview of the Bangsamoro struggle, recalling the brutalities of foreign colonizers and the massacres of Kulong-kulong, Malisbong, and Jabidah where the Bangsamoro paid in blood for daring to resist oppression.
Joining him were MILF First Vice Chairman, and Peace Implementing Panel Chair Mohagher M. Iqbal, and MILF AHJAG (Ad Hoc Joint Action Group) Chairperson Anwar “Young Fighter” Alamada. Chairman Murad convened the gathering to reaffirm the commanders’ loyalty to the cause and to ensure they receive clear, direct, and uncompromised guidance from the MILF leadership.
He then declared that the fight for self-determination endures, now waged through political means, from rifles to pens, from bunkers to polling precincts, from bullets to votes, then he stressed that the aspirations of the Bangsamoro remain unfulfilled, and that the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) is only a step toward the ultimate goal of genuine freedom.
