COTABATO CITY — The Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE), through its Directorate General for Technical Education and Skills Development (DG TESD) has, successfully conducted the Training Induction Program under the Bangsamoro Scholarship Program for TVET, reaffirming its commitment to empowering Bangsamoro learners through quality skills training and expanded opportunities for growth and employment.
“TVET” stands for technical-vocational training and education.
One of the 15 primary ministries of the Bangamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), the MBHTE is headed by Minister Mohagher M. Iqbal.
This is an important step in advancing quality technical-vocational education and giving more opportunities for Bangsamoro learners to acquire practical skills they can use for livelihood, employment, and improving their lives.

𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐲 𝐧𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐰𝐚 𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦
Sa kabilang dako, matagumpay na naisagawa ang Training Induction Program sa ilalim ng Bangsamoro Scholarship Program for TVET sa 𝑵𝒐𝒕𝒓𝒆 𝒅𝒂𝒎𝒆 – 𝑹𝑽𝑴 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑪𝒐𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒕𝒐, 𝑰𝒏𝒄. noong Abril 27, 2026, na dinaluhan ng kabuuang isang libo’t isang daan at apatnapu’t tatlo (1,143) na mga benepisyaryo.
Ang aktibidad ay isinagawa upang mabigyan ang mga kalahok ng komprehensibong oryentasyon hinggil sa estruktura ng programa, mga patakaran at alituntunin, mga inaasahan, at ang kahalagahan ng pagpapaunlad ng kasanayan para sa mas mataas na oportunidad sa trabaho at personal na pag-unlad.
Ang mga kalahok ay sasailalim sa iba’t ibang programang pangkasanayan tulad ng:

Ito ay isang mahalagang hakbang sa patuloy na pagsusulong ng dekalidad na Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) at sa pagbibigay ng mas maraming oportunidad para sa mga Bangsamoro learners.
Lubos kaming nagpapasalamat sa patuloy na suporta at pakikiisa ng aming mga partner schools at stakeholders sa matagumpay na pagsasakatuparan ng programang ito.
The Bangsamoro region, established in 2018 by the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL) to implement the 2014 CAB, is made up of the provinces of Basilan, Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao del Norte, Maguindanao del Sur, and Tawi-Tawi, the cities of Cotabato, Lamitan, and Marawi, as well as the Special Geographic Area’s (SGA) 63 barangays or villages — now eight new municipalities — that voted “Yes” in a plebiscite in February 2019 to be under the BARMM jurisdiction.
According to the Philippine Atlas BARMM has 4,404,288 people. It has 116 municipalities: Basilan, 11 municipalities; Lanao del Sur, 39; undivided Maguindanao, 36; Sulu, 19; and Tawi-Tawi, 11. Its component cities are Cotabato (the regional center and capital) in Maguindanao; Lamitan in Basilan; and Marawi in Lanao del Sur. (✓)
