NCMF-North Luzon Headed by RD Raihanah Macarimpas Shows Care for Employees via Webinar on Stress Management & Health Awareness

BAGUIO CITY — The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF)-North Luzon Regional Office led by Regional Director Bai Raihanah Sarah T. Macarimpas through its Socio-Economic Development Division in collaboration with their health care workers successfully conducted its Webinar on Stress Management and Health Awareness for Employees on June 5, 2026 via Video Teleconference.

Its aim was to increase employees’ awareness of stress and its effects on physical and mental health, provide practical strategies for managing workplace stress effectively, and foster a healthier and more productive work environment.

The program featured an address from Regional Director Attorney Macarimpas who warmly welcomed all participants and emphasized the importance of maintaining good mental and physical health in the workplace, highlighting that employees are valuable assets of every organization and that their well-being directly contributes to productivity, efficiency, and quality public service.

Opening the program was attendance checking facilitated by Human Resource personnel Ms. Asnimah M. Casanguan followed by a brief warm-up chair exercise facilitated by SEDD personnel Whasief M. Diabo designed to energize participants and create a positive learning environment. The activity encouraged participants to engage in simple stretching and breathing exercises to promote relaxation, improve focus, and reduce tension before the start of the session.

A PowerPoint presentation then followed delivered by SEDD personnel Sagola B. Macarangkat and AFD personnel Nurzhalyn S. Jaji, both registered nurse, who shared valuable insights on stress management and health awareness in the workplace. They discussed the common causes of workplace stress, its impact on employee performance and well-being, and effective coping mechanisms.

Topics included time management, work-life balance, emotional resilience, healthy habits, and self-care practices.

Participants were also provided with practical tips on maintaining physical health through proper nutrition, regular exercise, adequate rest, and stress-reduction techniques.

Following the lecture, an oral recitation quiz was conducted to assess the participants’ understanding of the topics discussed. Participants actively answered questions related to stress management, mental wellness, healthy lifestyle practices, and workplace health awareness. The activity encouraged engagement and reinforced key concepts presented during the lecture.

Concluding the program concluded was a question-and-answer session and photo documentation, allowing participants to clarify concerns and formally mark the success of the activity. Participants gained valuable knowledge and practical strategies for managing stress and improving their overall health. The activity contributed to fostering a more health-conscious, resilient, and productive workforce. (/)
