Honor Philippines anticipating the Honor 600S to sell like hotcakes like every new smartphone of the company launched in the country

MANDALUYONG CITY, October 11, 2026 (SDN) — Honor Philippines opened its first Honor Alpha Store here today, Saturday, marked by a rousing celebration of the Honor 600S 5G first day sale and a nod to the massive fans and users in the country of the Chinese global smart devices maker.
The Honor Alpha Store got its early bird customer of the Honor 600S 5G worth Php19,999, someone named “Jener Pascua” who broke the ice as the first buyer here.
Honor Alpha Store staff closed deal with the first buyer only shortly after the store opened here early morning. As of 2 p.m., they already sold 38 units, and were expecting more units to go.
SDN – SciTech & Digital News got a brief exclusive interview with Pao Oga, Honor Philippines public relations manager, at the sidelines of the festive launch of the Honor Alpha Store.
He thanked and sent his appreciation to the legions of Honor fans — customers and users — for consistently supporting the Chinese smartphone maker, which also manufactures other smart devices for the modern lifestyle and living. To name some: smartphones, tablets, smart watches, earphones/earbuds, and others.
A veteran in the public relations space, Oga says, as he summed up the sentiments and expectations with the launch of the artificial intelligence (AI)-powered smartphone:
“We are actually very happy today because we are expecting thousands of our fans and other consumers to be getting our Honor 600S starting today. So, we are very happy. We are expecting thousands of buyers from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.”
Oga hastens to add: “To our fans and other consumers, maraming maraming salamat sa patuloy na suporta (thank so much for the continued support).”
The Honor Philippines executive said the Honor 600S and other smartphones of the company compared to other smartphone products have lower price points. Honor 600S, he emphasized is AI-powered, has long battery life.
Oga said the opening of the Honor Alpha Store at SM Megamall brings the company’s products closer to Filipinos, saying apart from that, “we have many more stores and kiosks located in various parts of the National Capital Region and the rest of the country.”
He predicted that like all other Honor phones launched in the country, “we expect the Honor 600S to sell like hot cakes.”

With the first day of selling, Oga said, “we are bringing the Honor 600S and our other smart devices closer to our fans and supporters.”
He said the smart devices maker now has stores and kiosks in all major stores of SM. In case anyone forgets, “SM” is Shoe Mart, which started along Carriedo Street corner Rizal Avenue (more populary known as Avenida Rizal), Sta. Cruz, Manila.
Honor Philippines Digital Marketing Manager and Content Lead Eason de Guzman, Jr. announced at the event the metamorphosis of Honor Experience Store to Honor Alpha Store, connecting the description “integrator” of innovations.
Located at the Cyberzone, fourth floor, SM Megamall, the Honor Alpha Store appeared to be the first evolution in the Philippines of the company’s Honor Experience Stores nationwide.
The Honor Alpha Store comes with a 360-degree experience provided to customers and has built-in service center and better experience.
It can be recalled that the company based in Shenzhen, China, first came up with the term “Alpha” in September 2025 when it formerly launched its first first Honor Alpha Flagship Store at its Headquarters in Guangdong province, China. Shenzhen is the Chinese country’s first economic zone dating back to the 1980s, and now a tech power house.
With its Alpha Store in Shenzhen, as cited in a report via its website, Honor forges a global hub for AI Device Ecosystem and positioning it as an “AI Smart Living Ecosystem” — and is portrayed as “a destination where cutting edge technology converges with cultural inspiration”.
The Alpha Store makes known Honor’s “evolution from a smartphone manufacturer into a global AI device ecosystem leader” and that its opening in Shenzhen “marks a pivotal step in bringing this vision to life”.
