J&T Express and WorldVision have recently brought the holiday cheer to some 30 children, all between the ages of 5 and 7 years old. The children live in the Baseco Port in Manila.
The partnership was in line with J&T Express’ corporate social responsibility (CSR) of helping children in need by giving a chance to enjoy the warmth and spirit of the season.
Eleven volunteers from J&T Express joined the kids. During the event, they were treated to a lunch, games and gift-giving. The children also performed a dance number as part of the program’s intermission.
They belong to the community that the global foundation regularly supported. The company chose WorldVision since it has long been catering to the needs of underprivileged children in the country and around the world.
J&T Express Philippine Zoe Chi cited how important to the company the CSR activity.
“We are truly privileged to be a part of this effort. We at J&T Express share the same mission with WorldVision of helping children in need. We want to give these kids a chance to feel the true spirit of the season by allowing them to enjoy the love and generosity from others.”
J&T Express, the number one e-Commerce delivery in Southeast Asia, while a relatively new player in the Philippines, has made strong inroads in the country through its aggressive expansion programs. To date, the company has more than 400 branches across the country.

Meanwhile, J&T Express Philippines treated Monday, December 16, select members of the Philippine media organizations and the blogging community to a thanksgiving dinner at Shangri-La at The Fort in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila.
The occasion served as the company’s venue to express its gratitude to journalists and bloggers who in the course of their work were able to help convey to the public its message.
J&T Express is a relatively newcomer in the Philippines, out of its based in Indonesia. It settled in the country in August 2018.
Its commitment to expanding its network in every corner of Southeast Asia has already brought J&T Express to Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, and now in the Philippines.
