The new member of the unofficial Lotto Millionaires’ Club of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) bought the lucky ticket in Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur.

He worked abroad as an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) but came home for good; he is now an employee of the government.

A statement from the charity agency indicated he is not a resident of the Mindanao city, but went to Western Mindanao for “a short job-related trip.”

PCSO General Manager Royina M. Garma felt happy for the new instant millionaire.

Translation: Congratulations to you. Your intention to help your family and especially the church and our countrymen is laudable. We have that many more millionaires will be produced (by the PCSO), so let us continue to support and play the Games with a Heart of the PCSO especially in areas outside of the NCR+ bubble.

Garma made the remark after the winner made known his plans after pocketing the check equivalent of his winnings from the PCSO Headquarters at Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila.

He told the officials of the PCSO he will share his winnings with his siblings, give donation to the church, and those most-affected by the current pandemic.

He also thanked the PCSO for his luck.

Translation: I am very thankful for this big blessing. Many will benefit from my winnings, first my family and then our countrymen who are in dire need particularly in this time of the pandemic.
