WORLD TRADE CENTER, Pasay City, October 8, 2026 (SDN) — You miss “Hell’s smell & Heaven’s taste”? That’s DURIAN for the uninitiated! Or, you are the kind that only heard about it from friends, and wants to smell and taste the Asia-wide famous fruit?

Either way, from October 8 to 10 (Thursday to Saturday), plenty of Davao fruits such as durian, pomelo, mangosteen, Longkong lansones are aplenty at the World Trade Center, Macapagal Boulevard, corner Gil Puyat (Buendia) Avenue, Pasay City, Metro Manila.

Prices of the Davao fruits at the event are much lower than those sold in markets in Metro Manila.

There ar ealso lots of delicacies from various Luzon communities, farm machineries from China and other countries, and many more products.

Today, Thursday, happens to be the opening and start of the Department of Agriculture’s (DA) 3rd Kadiwa ng Pangulo 2026 along with AgriLink, AgriFood, AquaLink 2026.

Among others, every visitor can buy Php20 per kilo rice (limited to 10 kilos each person); not just beneficiaries of 4Ps.

If you are with the Green Thumb, lots of plants, too, to buy; many kinds of seeds for sale, like vegetables, herbs, flowering plants as well.

In today’s grand opening, more or less a thousand visitors plucked to the World Trade Center, and many coming out with Eco Bags full of goodies, plants, fruits, among others.

For those who want to try their luck, the are lots of easy fun games that will give winning players some prizes.

The three-day event is open to the public. Registration is FREE and is done on arrival through a QR Code, and after filling up the Registration Form, they’ll give you instantly your ID Pass for three days. With the pass you are entitled to visit and prowl through the hugely expansive venue.

The 3rd Kadiwa ng Pangulo is organized by the Agribusiness and Marketing Service Assistance (DA-AMAS) and features 60 exhibitors coveing farmers’ cooperatives, associatioo, and agri-entrepreneurs as they showcase their local fresh produce and regional goods.
